Liverpool complete signing of Balotelli in £16m deal

Some of the supporters are saying "Liverpool have made the smartest signing of the summer... " other "This guy has the mentality of a 13 year old and is also very disruptive in the dressing room, what on earth is Brendon Rodgers thinking...", "I'm personally happy to have this clown back in the premier league. "

Welcome back to premiership Mario.

Suarez dangerous again !!

Suarez dangerous again !!

What Liverpool fans thinking about Luis Suarez behaviour:

"If true, and several camera angles seem to show a bite beyond reasonable doubt, he should be banned from the rest of the World Cup,and my beloved LFC should suspend him until some other team is stupid enough to pay a huge amount of money for him.I am one of the few LFC supporters that has constantly refused to back Suarez. All the comments about him almost winning us the Premiership totally ignore the obvious riposte-what would have been the sitiuation re goal difference if he had not been banned for biting Ivanovic? Rodgers excuse about chasing the goasl difference may not have been necessary. Any one who still supports this disgrace to the famous red Liverpool shirt is not a true football supporter. This sort of behaviour has no place in any sport, other than alligator wrestling. And even then the alligator would bite you back! " - Barry

"Suarez should be done from ALL FIFA sponsored competitions, for life. How many times does he have to disrepect his opponents before they are done with him. If FIFA doesn't ban him for life, then his opponents should refuse to play because of the health risk he represents. What an arrogant ass." John

"The most shameful part is he has 2 little kids, what must they think watching their dad behave like this??? they'll grow up to think its normal to bite people.." - Ryan

What do you think?

Mourinho wants to play 'reserves' against Liverpool

Mourinho wants to play 'reserves' against Liverpool

Chelsea could field a weakened team in their top of the table Premier League game at Liverpool on Sunday 27. 04, said Mourinho after their 0-0 draw at Atletico Madrid. Asked if he would select a weaker team against Liverpool, Mourinho replied: "I think I will but it's something we have to speak about internally. It's not a decision a manager can make on his own."... "I can't decide by myself, that's a decision where I have to listen to the club. I'm just the manager, no more than that."

He said Chelsea had already tried and failed to get the Premier League to switch the Liverpool game to Friday or Saturday in order to give his team more time to prepare for the second leg against Atletico.

The brilliant Steven Gerrard, means Liverpool move back to the top of the Barclays Premier League tonight. U need 8 more points to guarantee Champions League football for next season, something that all pool fans would have been happy with at the start of the season.

Players reaction after the Man Utd match. I love their confidence.

1. It couldn't have gone any better for us really. We dominated from start to finish. It was very comfortable.

2. We came here for the three points. We aren't too bothered with where United are, we're just looking to push on and keep improving.

3. Before the sending-off we were much the better side and created a lot of chances. It could have been four or five.

4. It doesn't get much better for me being a local lad and helping Liverpool win 3-0 at Old Trafford. We have put down a marker today. Momentum is building.

5. I'm sure the other clubs up there will be worried after this result but we are just concentrating on ourselves. We all believe we can do it. We just need to keep pushing on.

6. All the lads know we haven't achieved anything yet. Our target was top four at the start of the season and we are on target for that. Anything else is a bonus.

I must to admit The Reds are flying high with a self-belief that marks them out as having a real chance to win the title and with Manchester City and us, still to visit Anfield, Liverpool have been presented with a wonderful opportunity to claim the prize that was once almost a permanent presence in their trophy room. :)

I think, it will depend how closely and evenly the game is called. Historically both teams play physical football with players ending the game injured or condamned with red cards. Vidic could be sent off and Suarez or Sturrige will cause an undeserved Penalty call :D Good luck to both teams, good luck to shrek and donkey :D

I can't wait for the Man Utd v Liverpool game this Sunday... Wayne Rooney-"I grew up hating LFC." Steven Gerrard- "I have each club players Jersey collection in my house but not Manchester United's and there will never be any in my house." Gary Neville-"I would play for any club but not LFC." :) Great old rivals United and Liverpool clash this weekend. Bring it on!
